Get to know your 2024-2025 PTO Board!

Co-President - Lisa Kennedy

I am so excited to serve my second year as your PTO President. My husband, Billy, and I have two wonderful children; Liam (6th) and Ava (4th). I have a background in Education and love giving back to the community. In the past, I have served as a room parent for each of my children’s classrooms, Room Parent Coordinator, parent representative for the School Improvement Council and No Place for Hate Committee, and 5th Grade Promotion Chair. I cannot wait to get to know all of you this year and hear your ideas on how we can continue to make Tega Cay Elementary a wonderful school.

Co-President - Heather Jones

"Hello! I am excited to be serving as one of the Co-Presidents for PTO and have two Titans (Kindergarten and Third Grade) this school year. Professionally, I am working on a new nonprofit to bring a Creative ReUse Center to York County and in our down time as a family we love spending time out at the Greenway and enjoying lake life. I have previously served as a room parent and committee chair and look forward to serving on the PTO to collaborate with other TCES families to continue the community traditions that make our school such a wonderful place!"

Co-Vice President - Felicia Murphy

I'm thrilled to be a part of The 2024-2025 PTO board! My husband and I have a daughter who is in First Grade at Tega Cay Elementary. We're world travelers of EPCOT, love to experience the magic of Cinderella's castle, taking the Kilimanjaro safari, and journeying through the Twilight Zone! I love being part of Titan Country and can't wait to meet everyone!

Co-Vice President - Kayla Coffey

Hi! I'm Kayla Coffey, and I’m thrilled to be a part of our school’s PTO. I have three wonderful children: one in 4th grade, one in 2nd grade, and a little future Titan eagerly waiting to join the school. Our family loves spending time outdoors, whether it's boating, swimming, or cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes. We are always doing stuff together. I work in commercial real estate, which keeps me busy, but my passion for supporting our school community and enhancing our children's educational experience is always a priority. I’m looking forward to contributing to our school’s PTO and collaborating with other dedicated parents and staff.

I'm very excited to be on the board this year and work with this awesome group. I have two little titans in fourth and second grade. I've enjoyed being a room parent in the past and I volunteer as a girls on the run coach and in the Tega wildlife rehabbers. My family loves spending time together either playing video games or swimming at Windjammer or exploring new things in the area. We moved here from Ohio three years ago and we've enjoyed calling Tega Cay our home.
